North Central University Storytelling Night

March 22, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

North Central University's (NCU) interpreting department has partnered with another student organization and will be hosting a Deaf Awareness Day celebration. We want this event to demonstrate to the NCU interpreting students how to "show and not tell" in ASL. This event is open to the public and strongly welcomes both Hearing and Deaf individuals alike. We would be honored if you would take the time out of your Tuesday to come out and inform our students about your community. A couple of our students will be sharing what it's like to be Deaf and grow up as a CODA and we are so excited to hear from them. A special guest will be there as well! Adan Burke and his daughter have agreed to come out and tell stories. If anything, come out and support him!
