The Kitchen

Written by Arnold Wesker

This is war! Cultures clash, expletives fly, knives are thrown, crockery is broken: War zones aren’t called theaters for nothing. Arnold Wesker’s 1959 slice-of-life drama draws battle lines behind the scenes in a restaurant, revealing how as societies operate with and against each other by pitting the cooks against the waiters.
