ASL Yoga for ASL Students

ASL Yoga for the ASL Student.
Are you a student taking ASL? Looking to fulfill your requirements?
Rather it is a last minute thing or an early start for next semester, I am happy to offer this unique opportunity.
As a former High School ASL teacher, Deaf Yoga teacher, I offer the perfect Yoga/ASL experience for every stage in your ASL learning.
You will learn:
ASL terminology of Yoga, Meditation, Breathing and how Yoga is adapted for people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing.
You will participate in some Yoga moves. You will be challenged to work in groups, practicing the signs taught, and participate in Meditation.
When you arrive:
Please arrive by 10:15 for check-in.
Go to the back of the Deaf Club, walk up to the 3rd floor.
Sign in and pay $5.00
You will also sign your Certificate which will be given at the end of the class. This will be your verification for completing the class.
Rules: No talking. Use your signs, gestures, fingerspelling and/or paper and pen to write.
Parents who want to chaperone can lounge in the lobby of the Deaf Club or join.
