2016 Martin Luther King, Jr. Statewide Holiday Celebration

Governor Dayton’s Council on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday formally invites you to “The Power of Telling Your Story: 30 Years of Us”

It will be held on Monday January 18 from 9am-1pm at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts (345 Washington Street, St. Paul, MN).

MNCDHH has 2 Community Outreach Specialists, Kim Wassenaar and Jessalyn Akerman-Frank, who are working with Governor Dayton's Council on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Statewide Celebration.

This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. There will be a reserved seating section for the deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing community.

Accessibility
Onstage interpreters and CART services will be provided. For additional accommodations (such as DeafBlind or CDI requests), please contact Jessalyn Akerman-Frank (jessalyn@jessalynfrank.com) by Friday, January 8, 2015. Information about Parking and Free Bus rides on MLK Day:
PARKING: Parking will be available for $3.00 per vehicle at the St. Paul College Ramp, 235 Marshall Avenue beginning at 8:00 am. Attendees will be given a free bus pass to use to connect to the Ordway via Route 21.

FREE TRANSIT TO THE ORDWAY: Free transit passes will be available to use from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on January 18 courtesy of Metro Transit. Beginning on January 11, passes can be printed off at https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=144891905596, or picked at the following locations:
